Design & Development

From concept to die, everything is engineered around extrusion.

We support customers early in the development process to help turn concepts into profiles that are ready for extrusion. Whether you’re starting from a sketch, modifying an existing part, or refining a full system, our team provides design, prototyping, and tooling support — all in-house.

Matching Process

We color match based off your reference, whether that’s a physical sample, a color standard, or a supplied part. From that, we develop a custom compound and produce a test sample in the actual profile and finish. A swatch or short run is sent for visual approval before production. We match to:

2D/3D CAD Design
We work from your files or build drawings from scratch to define the geometry, tolerances, and extrusion constraints of your profile.

STEP, .IGES, .DXF, .DWG, and .STL.
Application Engineering & DFM
Before tooling is cut, we review each profile for extrusion feasibility, material flow, wall thickness, and how the part will fit and function once produced. If changes are needed, we recommend adjustments that improve manufacturability without affecting performance.
Rapid Prototyping & STL Printing
We offer 3D printing for quick, low-cost validation before moving to full tooling. STL prints help verify form and fit — especially for complex assemblies — and give your team a chance to catch issues before production.
In-House Tool & Die Development
All tooling is designed, machined, and maintained in-house. This gives us full control over lead times, profile accuracy, and design iteration. During sampling, we can make fast die adjustments without sending tools off-site — keeping development timelines short and responsive.

Multi-Color & Co-Extruded Profiles

We support color matching for profiles that use more than one color in a single extrusion. This includes co-extruded and tri-extruded parts where separate material streams are combined during production. Different colors can be applied to distinct sections of the profile — such as edges, caps, cores, or wear layers — with each matched independently.

All colors are developed in the correct material and run together in one continuous profile, with alignment and tolerances maintained throughout.
