Industrial Plastics
Industrial plastics are the most widely used thermoplastic materials. They offer a balance of performance and cost-effectiveness, making them suitable for high-volume applications across construction, manufacturing, and consumer products.
Common applications: weatherstripping, drainage channels, protective trim, general-purpose gaskets, and structural components where extreme performance isn’t required.
Engineering Plastics
Engineering plastics offer superior mechanical strength, thermal resistance, and dimensional stability. These materials are selected when applications demand higher performance, tighter tolerances, or exposure to challenging conditions.
Common applications: architectural trim requiring durability, protective covers needing impact resistance, optical applications, and components exposed to higher temperatures or mechanical stress.
Thermoplastic Elastomers
Thermoplastic elastomers combine the flexibility and resilience of rubber with the processing advantages of thermoplastics. These materials compress, stretch, and recover like rubber but can be extruded and reprocessed like standard plastics.
Common applications: door and window seals, refrigeration gaskets, soft grips and handles, cushioning and bumpers, and the flexible sections of dual durometer profiles.
