What is PP (Polypropylene)?
Polypropylene is a thermoplastic material known for its low density and ability to withstand repeated flexing. In extrusion, PP (Polypropylene) is often used for profiles that need to act as living hinges, flexible guides, or snap-fit shapes that move during use without failing.
PP (Polypropylene) does not behave like rubber and is not used for sealing or cushioning. Instead, it is chosen for applications where controlled flex and long service life under motion are required.
