What is EVA?
Ethylene-vinyl acetate is a thermoplastic material that sits between polyethylene and rubber in feel and performance. In extrusion, EVA produces soft, flexible profiles that compress readily and provide a cushioned interface between harder surfaces.
EVA is not used for tight sealing, structural support, or high-temperature environments. It is chosen when softness and impact absorption are the primary requirements.
